I Am Karla

I am Karla.

Nothing more and nothing less.

I am a dreamer.

The possibilities are endless.

I am an enigma.

A mystery of its own.

I am emotional.

Sometimes it's hard to go on.

I am a harsh critic of myself.

I know I can always be better.

I am an artist,

an original trend-setter.

I am a believer,

and I will never falter.

I am depressed.

My depression is my life-long partner.

I am from greatness.

The expectations are set high.

I am not afraid,

to reach for the sky.

I am a survivor,

of life and it's vices.

I am not the best poet,

so this poem might seem lifeless.

I am not good with endings, 

so this is okay.

I am Karla.

What more can I say?
