I am a Legend

I am young and full of talent,

But most of it unknown.

In the great plains of Africa did my ancestors roam,

And only with those I know do I feel at home.

I am strong a full of courage,

But it hides away most of the time.

My mind is as sharp as a blade,

It is my dream to give others medical aid.

I read of legends and great people,

All around me, I see fine role models.

And I too will do great things,

Oh indeed, yes me.

For there is a legend hidden inside of me.

I am young and full of talent,

That is showing itself to me.

In the great plains of Africa did my ancestors roam free.

I am being myself with people,

I am being me.

I have found a legend hidden inside,

She was crying to be set free.

I have found a legend hidden inside,

Hidden inside of me.

I am beautiful and strong,

I have found a legend hidden inside of me.

No, she shall not be caged again.

It is time for the legend to live free.
