I Am a Leo
I am a Leo
like the stars have said.
Brave and courageous
like the lion itself.
However, I doubt
if I have courage
because I cower
when there is trouble.
Also, I doubt
if I am brave
because I run
when problems arise.
Although I cower and run,
I face life head on.
Like the stars have
written and predicted.
I am admired and loved
by the people whom
I hold dearly
like the stars have said.
I cower and run.
I also care and protect.
I become brave and courageous
when I fight for love.
The stars are not wrong,
nor are they right.
They give advice
and guide many.
The stars say things
that tell me actions
I should take
or things that will help me.
In reality,
the stars have an idea
of who i really am
an an individual.
Because the truth is,
the stars do not dictate
who i really am
an an individual.
Therefore, I am a Leo
as the stars said.
Not brave or courageous
but a strong fighter.
Like the king of the jungle.
Like the lion itself.
