I Am.... The Loner

I'm the girl that walks alone,

The one you never really know,

I'm the one who stands on her own,

Always putting on a show,

You don't see,

The tears are my silent lullaby,

You don't know,

How much I truly want to cry,

Listen to my music,

You'll learn to read between the lines,

Watch my face,

It may betray me and give you a sign,

Don't rely on my words,

I'll fill you full of lies,

Don't rely on the outside,

Read me through my eyes,

Alone isn't a choice,

It's a way of life,

Alone wasn't my choice,

And it truly cuts like a knife....
