I am Love
I am Love.
Have I not shown you who I am?
I am the force that shifts the tides of your heart.
The passion that flows through your veins.
Do you not know who I am?
I am Love.
I am the spirit of tenderness
that penetrates your skin.
The soul of the purest form
of humanity which you
most desire in this world.
I am Love.
I am an earthquake that shakes
your very essence.
The greatest force of nature
which makes you
tremble at my touch.
Because of fear? No.
Because of Love.
I am Love.
Who told you I am cruel?
Who dared ever to claim themselves as I,
with a blow to your face?
You told you those bruises are
bearings of affection?
Coward is he who ever
claimed you enamored him
yet he made sure you always
felt unworthy and unloved.
He is not Love
Cold-blooded was the woman who
gave you her heart only
for it to be a stone-in-disguise
which she would later
execute you with.
She is not Love.
Am I not Love?
The one who shouts
worthy are you of me!
priceless is your value!
I am not purple and blue
spots on your skin.
I am the tender kisses
that mark your body.
Never will I keep you
boxed away, like an
object of my keeping.
My beloved, I set you free
from any invisible chain
that holds you hostage.
My darling,
He is not Love.
She is not love.
I am Love.
And I love you.
