I Am... Love

How to describe me

Do you know what you see?

I have been called many

But am written as one

Certificate of birth

A formal name it holds

But how you act

And what you say

Dictates who you are

Love is who I am

It cannot be described

As a single syllable word

But rather an action

And one many unheard

For this world is full of hurt and loss

But those like me?

We restore it from the lost

Fill this world to the brim

So that all may feel

Remember who I am

Because I am Love

And that's hard to find

When you're around here
