I Am Lydia

I am usually barefoot

I wonder what others think of me

I hear ignorance everywhere

I want an impractical number of dogs

I am usually barefoot

I pretend I know what I'm doing

I touch the lives of many

I worry about dying naked

I cry over my homework

I am usually barefoot

I understand that every life matters

I dream about a world of love and equality

I try to care for everyone

I hope I do good in life

I am usually barefoot
