I Am a Machine
Hunting another calloused hand to hold
I became lost in worlds of temptation,
Used for beauty, hollowed, taken & sold
To the pursuit of my validation.
Growing my muscles, both body and brain
A lioness amidst a world of sheep,
The ever-present fuel for me to train
Has always penetrated me so deep.
Moving ever forward, I am grinding
Surging past the limits that were set forth.
Doubtful parts of this machine are dying
It is here that I have found my real worth.
