I am made new

I am made new

My power is gone

Taken by a thief in the night.

I was robbed.

He took my integrity.

He took my security.

He took my comfort.

He mocked me at every turn.

I was made vulnerable

I was made weak.

But he couldn’t take my faith.

He couldn’t take my hope.

He couldn’t take my pride.

With these things embedded in me

I reclaimed what he took.

I reclaimed my power.

I reclaimed my integrity.

I reclaim my security.

I reclaim my comfort.

I reclaim My LIFE.

I refuse to be a mockery.

I refuse to be weak.

I am strong.

I am powerful.

I am made new.
