Here I am, a comedian

Laughing and bright

No one knows that underneath

I have a serious fright

That someone won't think i'm funny

Someone will see

That I am a real person

I am me

I have a serious side

It hurts to say

That i'm not funny every day

I'm not the best, I'll never be

I try so hard to let no one down

Make sure i'm funny all around

They don't notice
