I am me

I climb mountains

I wear long sleeves

I look up and see stars

always tripping over my feet

I am curly

I am bright

I am blue

I am a tarnished dime

I am a silver penny

always lonely in a full room

and nothing you assume

I am a secret

I am a stare

I am a breeze blowing your hair

dizzy, light, and free

I am a gardenia

growing in my mother's garden

strong, simple, and sweet

somewhere lost and faraway

where everyone's here to stay

I'm a dolphin in deep blue waters

who never learned how to swim

I am willful

I am tired

I am me
