I am Me

Without all the makeup I am me,
I am beautiful.
Eyelashes that reach out towards the sky,
Bright, blue eyes that sparkle in the light.
Behind all the makeup, I am me,
A girl with a dream to go to school,
to travel from sea to shining sea.
Without all the filters,
I will be,
the best version that I can be.
A girl who strives to be kind to everyone,
who helps others in times of need.
So let this be a lesson,
from you to me:
A girl can be beautiful all on her own.
