I Am Me

Many people know the season

But many people know not me

I am more than your Instagram pictures

Of your dog playing in the leaves

I am the purest of aesthetics

Not for my face or my hair

For the light, that shines in my eyes

Through society's judgemental cries

I am a body

That society claims

Is "Too Fat For Fame"

This world should be ashamed

I am a personality

That holds true to time

Who loves their friends

Even if they're Bi

I am a mind

With thoughts as fruitful, as a wild grapevine

Whose morals stand at the very core

Shaping me since I was  Born

Most of all

Through nights of pain

And hours of hurtful cries

I am me
