I am me

I am human

I have imperfections

I don’t listen to nobodyNot to my parents nor my teachersStress makes me drinkGiggles cover the pain I struggle with insideI am brokenFrom years of those imperfectionsBeing brought up by othersFrom the guilt of never being worthySelf consciousness coming to the surfaceI am hopefulI know that no matter how hard I mess upHow much my life faltersThere is a waySo I am humanAnd I am broken My heart desolate But still I hopeAnd PrayEvery day gets betterI get strongerAnd smarterAnd more beautifulInside And outBecause I am humanBecause I am me
