I AM ME.

I am me.

I am the person who turns to music for comfort.

I am the person who stays home on a Friday, Saturday nigth instead of at parties.

The person who puts coffee and pizza before alcohol and drgs.

I am me.

I am the person who walks through the halls of the school with her headphones on and music blaring.

I am the person who is in Band and ROTC and not in football or cheerleading.

I am me.

I am the person who was raised in "THAT" household.

I am "THAT" kid who thought she wouldnt make it past the age of 13.

But who knew that, "THAT" child grew up to be living somewhere elsee and going to high school in another city, where she's making staright A's and F's. Where she could be herself and not something someone else wanted.

I am me.

I am the person which change, determination and reality defines. That if you flipped to these words in a dictionary, you would find a picture of me and the definition would be this exact poem.

I am this person.

I AM ME.
