I Am Me.

I am strong like a birch tree.
   Thin, with a pale complexion.
My occasional quiet disposition does not define me.

   I am creative and free-spirited.
I soar like a raven, my locks mimicking the color of its feathers.
   I am fierce and opinionated.

I have the passion of a lion's roar.
   I am mysterious and alluring.
My eyes are a jewel-toned picture that speaks a thousand words.
My gaze is a caricature of expression that will leave you wanting more,
wanting to explore. Invoking questions like never before.

I have a hunger for knowledge, for purpose, for meaning and for life that
transcends comprehension of others and even myself.
I have a wanderlust that yearns to be satisfied. The caged raven, sings
because she has seldom known the world past her own home. I, like the raven
   also wish to roam.

I have the subtle intellectual wisdom of an owl. Who? "Hoo?" Who am I?
I have an affinity for literature. Books are my moon, sun, and sky.
I have a deep appreciation for the art of the written word. I believe the pen is
   always mightier than the sword.

I am an old soul. I take my pair of vintage cat-eye glasses over the latest trends anyday
I am often misunderstood. I am a complex creature. Multi-faceted and simplistic all
at the same time. As with any other human, I have been weathered. My experiences both
do, and do not define me.

I am a lover, like a penguin. I set out in my black, and white with my red lipstick on
to mate for life. It has to be someone who agrees, with everything I am, I have, and
  everything that is me.

I am not a symphony, a lyric, or a harmony. Like a rebellious mermaid, and the best part
of a song, I am a Melody. Hear me love, laugh, learn, dance, roar, and so much more.
  I am, I am, I am.
