I AM ME

When can i just be seen for me

and not for who people think i am

yes my father is who you think he is

but that doesnt mean i am his

see i come from somewhere where i can't really be myself

beacuse all eyes are on me, nothing else

it began freshmen year when i thought it was a new beginning

but soon realized i was only at the bottom of the inning

all sources of insecurties and hatred came from my father's job

even when you ask me about it today my heart still throbs

see my father is the principle of my school

so you can see how how i can't be considrerd cool

everyone that talks to me just wants to get to my dad

beacuse he is the leader in the shirt thats red and plaid

now back to what i have to say because im so used to not getting a voice

beacuse usually i never say anything but now i can rejoice

i've learned how to coupe with all my fears and insecurities

thanks to my kean sense of maturities

all in all im glad i've been but in the situtation im in

beacuse the honest to truth is that it has been a win win

my dads my best friend and i thank him for all he's done

beacuse in the end it has made me a better, stronger someone
