I am a Methor

I am a mother, astray, alone. I am a child absent of home. I will deliver an interesting ration, I kill and suffocate your nation. I give you warning now that you are lost Your country pays the cost. There is an act of kindness, though, A home, a life, a center. Adoption-parent constructed into a renter. There is joy, there is love, Perhaps a divine act from above. I make your life hell But you would never tell. Watch the commercials as you fall to dust, Yes, concede that change is a must. But, I make you scratch, bite, burn. Oh, don't worry it will soon be your turn. My death won't wait, So why hesitate? Hold it! A smile, a laugh, a glimmer of hope. But YOU can send me a saving rope. I am the money you long for, here you seek, I am what the greedy keep. Me, I give you energy, make you go faster. Oh, don't mind me, I am only your master. I am fights in the street The side you don't want to meet. I'm let in with your permission You who don't watch, don't listen. Lies that creak from a broken face, I am death, now you sprint through the race. You stand by and watch as I create more loss. There are things not there that you see, My effects hand you the key. I am shoving you off the edge, No! Showing you the easy ledge, To fall into the pit of death. The peer pressure to give you Meth.
