I Am A Monster
I am a husk
Of the man I once was
For I am different
From dawn to dusk
I am like a Basilisk
The king of all snakes
A sneaky serpent
But on the inside a fake
I am empty inside
Like an Eidolon spirit
An appearance like humans
On the outside alive
But inside is dead
Bloodshed is nothing
To a being like me
A Keres is hungry
For flesh and misery
The singing of Sirens
That lures victims to death
Never gave a single thought
When releasing their final breath
Who could forget the Hydra
That could never perish
For when one head was gone
Another took its place
Always as bloodthirsty as the other
I am not human
But a monster in human skin
This flesh and bone and skin
Is nothing but a disguise
No one would want a monster
Like me alive
A beast like me
Would have to hide
In order to survive
I am a monster
A being of history and horror
Hidden in human form
But a wolf in sheep’s clothing
Is more than a warning
