I am more than this

I am more than this confusion

That seems to settle on me

Caused by trying to find my place

Inthis ever misunderstood community

you preach and preach

trying to end this hate

buy you look at me and say, 'your

sexuality, it doesn't equate!'

you are all hated, scorned, sneered,

and maybe even feared

all because you love who your heart chooses.

But my sexualty

my choice

doesn't exist to you?

I don't have sex,

so my love doesn't exist to you?

I am more than your restrictions

Because why do we equate love to sex?

I am more than your inhabitions

Because your fears are not my own

I am more than your definition

because my name has no synonyms
