I Am More
I am a single face, in a crowd full of nobodies.
I am the name whispred in the wind, in the streets, of the city of dreams.
I am the calm before the storm,
I am unexpected and innovative,
I am a force to be reckoned with.
I am a young girl with a continuously growing dream.
I am the Future,
I am the Past!
I am the little African American girl living in the ghettos of your city.
I am Hope,
for those who were told they shouldn't be "anything they wanted to" because their dreams of being an artist just "Doesn't pay enough"
I am a single face, in a crowd of full nobodies
Waiting.
Watching.
Ready to become The Face of Somebodies.
I am Kayla.
And I am more than what mere words can define.
