I Am A Musician

I stand in front of you today to play a song

I am a musician, you know

I have played the violin for 6 years

For hours and hours I have practiced for this moment alone

But I have not practiced shaking in front of you

Teeth chattering

hope of a good performance shattering

I’m thinking of scattering

But I’ve worked too hard for this moment to give it up

For hours and hours I have practiced for this moment alone

I have played the violin for 6 years

I am a musician, you know

I stand in front of you today to play a song
