I Am.. My Flaws

The mirror reflects my flaws

The reflection that makes me feel insecure

Anxiety that sends a cold tingling sensation down my spine

Forcing myself to look at my own reflection

Looking at the fresh beige scar down my chest

Feelng the thick scar on the back of my neck

Looking at the small scars trailing on my forearms and my hands

As time continues to pass

The scars will fade

My insecurites will fade

Memories will never fade

As time continues to pass

My anxiety will fade

My nights of consisted of many prayers

On my knees asking for time to pass by faster

I've been mocked at far too many times

I'm tired of hearing the voices in my head

Saying,"This is who you are and all you ever will be"

You'll never understand until you've been there

If things were ever going to get better

Give me a "when" and "where"

But you'll never truly understand unless

You've been there
