I am a new dream

I am not who I believed I would someday become.

By this age, I was supposed to be a princess

or an astronaut

or a bull rider.

Instead I am head of the rocket club

and am having one dream

and my best friend is the sister

I once attempted to return to

the hospital.

My five year self would be disappointed

but my current self is ok.

I know where I am going

my dream changed

to help the dreams

of others

come true
