I am from, a nightmare
I am from,
A nightmare i can't escape from;
A life of pain, misery, and abandonment.
I am from,
A family that cant stand my presense;
A lifetime of crying, screaming, and abuse.
My memories appear strongly vague and few,
however, the ones that show are explicit and horrible.
Night-by-night of consistant agony, from people around me;
Day-by-day of fear of death, and where to sleep at night.
Life as a child shouldn't be that of a poor, homeless man,
but, sometimes it is and they have to live with the pain forever.
I am from,
Nights waking up to sounds of screams, crashes, and breaking objects;
The nights being yanked out of bed and having to run for my life.
I am from,
Life being threatened and accused of things i had no idea about;
A life of lies and disownment from the ones you love and look up to.
Nights of waking up from nightmares of the things i have seen and heard;
The times i look around for the person screaming out my name,
only to find out nobody and nothing is there.
The many places i have called home and guys i called daddy;
The nights of seeing the abuse from men, alcohol, drugs, and themself.
all the families i have had, but only to end up with none of them left.
I am from,
A life you could never understand unless you experience it;
A life that shouldn't be experienced by anyone ever.
I am from,
A nightmare that will only be ended by death!
