I am not

I am not one who shall live in shame

to be looked down upon

I am not one who shall lie in tears

Falling to the ground without one to hold my back

Never having someone to love or to love me back

Not knowing what it is to cross the street with supervision

The world is cruel and wicked

Nothing in this world is given

we must work for everything that there is

I am not one who shall live in shame

I may work hard

be there to catch you

Holding your hand looking left and right

The world may not be wicked and cruel

but it is...
