I Am Not Defined

I am in high school

I am tall

I am caring

I am popular

I am athletic

But is that what I want to be?

A list of trivial adjectives that could be found in a dictionary definition under "basic high school girl"

I want more

I want morals

I want dreams

I want to be defined as something that is beyond what I have done

beyond the labels that others have pinned me with

beyond the sports I play, and the classes I take

I want to inspire

I want to redefine myself in a way that means something

I want to be more than what I am

And even if I do not yet know what that is

I will discover it
