I Am Not A Freak

I am not a freak

Just because I am different

From what you expected

Just because I don’t fit

Your pre-determined stereotypes

Just because I don’t hide

From all the hate you throw at me

I am not an experiment

You will not use me

For your personal gain

You will not stop me

From speaking my thoughts

You will not belittle me

With things you have no knowledge of

I am not a pet

Just because you know my dead name

Does not mean you own me

Just because i speak freely

Does not mean my own words hurt me

Just because you hide these things

Does not mean I ever will
