I am not the only one

I am not the only one

who is afraid to feel this way

I am not the only one

who can't make people stay

I am not the only one

who fears life after dusk

I am not the only one

crying in the mornings musk.

I am not the only high school student

who panics during every test

I am not the only science nerd

who mourns being repressed

I am not the only child

who lives without their dad

I am not the only human

who lives life being sad

I am not the only one

who is afraid to feel this way

but I will be the one to say

I am exactly who I am

because of everything I over came.

I am exactly who I am

with no one else to blame.
