i am NOT scared

All my life, I was scared;

Scared of what others would think,

Scared of standing out,

Scared of the world.

As a child, I would hide behind my parents;

Growing older, I was scared to be different;

I conformed to the "social norms".

Until one day it clicked-

It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter what others think

Only what I think

Live for yourself

And happiness will flow from your every movement!
