I am not your shadow

I see now that I am nothing I'm nothing but your shadow im not even your partner, your friend, or love I shall not whisper a word to anyone for I am nothing but a shadow and i cant say a word but watch you rise and fall for i am just a shadow. You do not recognize me so I might as well leave. So when you finally realize... when you finally see... I am not your shadow to be you will not change you will not cry for i was just a shadow waiting to die...
