I am nothing but a dreamer...

I am nothing but a dreamer

Left to reoccurring dreams.

I could live forever

In their world of wonder,

At least that’s how it seems.

Curse the power of moonbeams

So wonderful in color!

All throughout the day it seems

I’m plagued by their internal schemes

It seems I’ll never conquer.

I often dream you are my lover

Oh how wonderful that seems.

But you are not my lover

Nor ever was I’m sure.

No matter what I do it seems

I am nothing but a dreamer

And I miss you in my dreams
