But I Am An Ocean
I want to bleed out
Not in the physicaly sense
But in the metaphorical sense
Because when I cry
I cry at random
Before I go to sleep
Or one in the after noon
I write awful poetry when I cry
Because I want to be born a new
So strongly I can’t think straight
To let the bad seep out
And let the good back in
Because I was good once
I was good yesterday
But not the day before that
Why am I sad so suddenly
I want to be a lake
But I am an ocean
Crashing
Then still
Then stormy and crashing again
I want to be a lake
But I am an ocean
I am so sad right now
Even though I stayed home from school
And drank coffee
And watched Netflix
I don’t know why I’m sad
I don’t want to be
I want to be a lake
But I am an ocean
