I am the Ocean
Can a limit be put on the ocean and all it is?
Can you justify that the ocean is solely water,
But what of all of all it contains
There is more to it than the waves that
Crash upon the beach
Below the perfect surface of clear blue water
There is beauty
Darkness
Sunlight breaks the thin glass surface
Of the sparkling water
It bursts into a million pieces
Creating the beauty many see
Not needing to be submerged
To see its magnificence
Only few take the time to
Penetrate the surface long enough
To see the true beauty of the ocean
Laying on the smooth sand at the
Bottom of the shallow water
Looking up, watching
The lights and colors dance
Exploring the blue and pinks
Of the coral reefs
Feeling the warmth of the volcanoes
Than the cold from the current
None dare enter the great abyss
That lies on the ocean floor
Hidden in the depths where no one else may go
The secrets of a broken heart
Pain
Loss
All alone
The farther into the depths you go
The darker it becomes
The more secrets become uncovered
Even in the darkness everything becomes clear
There is no light to see the beauty
All the light of the sun wouldn’t help
There is no beauty
I am the ocean
