I am the One
I am the One who wakes up like you
Who eats, and walks, and does the things you do
I am the One who sits there and class
Taking notes beside you as time seems to slowly pass
I am the One who smiles in your face
And tells you that my weekend was great
While you reply with with a mimic smile and a small head shake
Yet...I am the One who knows how to lie
Who has to be strong though I just want to cry
Who doesn't see the board cause I'm too busy quaking
For something in my mind tells me I need to be shaking
I am the One who inches from your touch
Because in my mind you're a monster that from my soul I should rush
I am the One who though wants a good rest
Stays awake all night from this unexplained stress
I am the One who suffers in silence
Because talking would get me killed....at least that's what my mind says
