I am only a person.

I am only a person.

I am not invincible;

I am not fearless;

I am not indestructible.

I am weak;

I am afraid;

I am vulnerable.

But it is the people who surround me;

Who love me and care for me;

Keeps me grounded.

I do not need to be a hero;

I do not need to be a god;

I only need to be me;

Because I am only a person.
