I am the only who can define me
I am the 2 year-old singer
I am the 4 year-old who loved everything with an uncontrolled fever
I am the 7 year-old with scrapped up knees
I am the 9 year-old who was unconfortable in her own skin
I am the 11 year-old who only wanted to fit in
I am the 13 year-old who found self-hatred
I am the 14 year-old in mourning of her childhood
I am the 15 year-old who found her closure in a blade
I am the 15 year-old who daydreamed about death
I am the 15 year-old who seeked help
I am the 16 year-old who found love within herself
I am the 16 year-old who realised she was important
I am my past. I am my present. I am my future.
I am NOT what they say.
