I am optimistic

I am optimistic.
I expect that if I do good
Good will come back to me and those around.
My belief is in the actions I make determines
My past, present, and future

I am optimistic.
It does not matter how little, weak, or insufficient
It may be to society, to me it is the world.
I am being lead by the illusion
An illusion to give everything a good ending.

I am optimistic.
If a main character of a book or movie is sad
I want to create an alternative to make them happy
If my friends are upset
I try to talk to them, give them empathy

I am optimistic
Because regardless of how he world is
I will challenge it so everyone
Every single person regardless good or bad
will find a joyful destination.

I will challenge life's struggles
To become the person I want to be
To make the world I wish it to be
To change the hearts of those around me.
