"I AM THE PEN"
I am the ink
On this paper
My thoughts flow out
In linear chunks of hoped for meaning
I am the words
On this page
For they are
What I want to say to you.
I am the word "I"
I have left it
Here for you
As a snapshot of my soul.
I am the pen
As I focus my meaning
At this point in my life
Creating my own meaning for NOW.
I am my own meaning
Sharing it with all who read
After I have written
Read on and find me.
I am the scribble that wiggles
Round and round
In my head down my arm, hand, pen
To the page and now into your head.
I am the thoughts you have,
The eyes that saw,
The feelings that were felt,
The responses that came into your mind.
I am the pen
And without me, and you
This paper can not, shall not, will not ever LIVE!
Read on!
