I am Perseverance

I will stand tall and steady,

Even if the ground beneath my feet begins to crumble,

My entire life has made me ready,

I will never give up and I certainly won’t fumble.

I know the road ahead will be a tough one,

Full of curves, kinks and bends,

And while I can’t see where or when it all ends,

I know there’s no time to waste,

Father time stops the clock for no one,

I will chase my dreams with speed and haste,

I will embrace bravery,

I will shun excuses distaste.

I am perseverance and I will never stop going!
