I Am From Poem

I am from Spokane Washington

from an old hand me down house on a beautiful lake

I am from Grandma's delicious peanut butter cake

I am from "say cheese!" after running threw the sprinkler with my Popsicle smile

I am from long road trips to DisneyLand and back, laughing mile by mile

I am from feeding deer and running up and down the stairs with no cares

I am from pink cowgirl boots and watching Nana Sammie pickin' flowers roots by roots

I am from 20 mile hikes on Mount Rainer and running out of dark rooms because of fear

I am from hanging out with friends and not caring how much clothes we lend

I am from the Vradenburg family were we giggle at our farts and love with are hearts
