I Am Poem

I am tall and a girl

I wonder what it takes to make it big in the world

I hear the footsteps through the house at night while everyone is asleep

I see photography that I wish I could take with my eyes

I want a new Chevy Silverado

I am tall and a girl

I pretend I'm not single

I feel happiness and love

I touch rough

I worry that I'm not good enough for this society

I cry when I read a letter that my dad wrote

I am tall and a girl

I understand the world isn't perfect

I say everyone should love everyone no matter what race, gender, or belief

I dream that one day I'll be able to support a family of my own

I try to focus on school, work, and my 2 families

I hope that I'm pleasing my family

I am tall and a girl
