I am Poison

I am Poison

They've said that to me.

My demons, the only ones who are with me now.

They smile, and wrap me in their dark grasp,

They say, "Come here, our little Poison."

I walk blindly, not feeling the pain of their sharp nails across my wrists.

I am Poison

My heart is black as night, and my soul drips with blood from my wrists.

I make everyone angry, and disgusted.

No one would ever love a girl with scars on her wrist and legs.

No one would ever love a girl who feels nothing.

No one would ever love a girl who is Dead on the inside.

I am Poison and that is all I will ever be.
