I Am Proudly Broken

I am broken and crippled with fear.

Tattered and worn throughout these years.

My skin and bones are covered with scars.

I have problems- countless problems that rival the amount of stars.

Pushing and Pulling myself along for countless hours.

Running and hiding but NO I am no coward!

Yes, I am engraved with a dark dreary past.

Yes I have scars and scary thoughts that are sure to last.

Those ghastly memories do not defy me, however the conquering does.

When I wanted to give up but kept going because "I must!"

I am determination, I am pride.

I am the pushing and pulling after every tear I cried.

Some stay I am broken and this may be true,

But I wont fall, no matter what I do.
