I Am... Scholarship Slam
I'm a simple man; My ultimate goal is to be at peace with myself, eliminate toxic feelings, elements and energies from my life. I want to unlearn negative and harmful practices and thought patterns so that I can create a space for myself that is nurturing for my growth, so that I may generate loving energy for myself and others. I want to nourish my spirit and balance myself;Through this I can created a better atmosphere for those around me. I am someone who feels too much; every word, every action and every energy I hold dearly close.
I am someone people can look at and find hope in. I'm a kind hearted person who genuinely loves people. I want to become someone people can look at and be proud of. Someone you can smile at and see some of yourself in. I believe that not a single person on this planet is born to hate someone because of their skin, the religion they practice, or even the type of family they were brought up in. People learn to hate through their peers and everyday people they interact with. If you learn then you can learn to love. Living in today's society would be of ease if people just learned to love.
Someone that not only will listen but will build you up no matter what. So I've set a certain goal in my life... To never let anyone walk aimlessly in the pit of despair I was once in. I will guide and help the people that have come across my life. I will illuminate any kind of darkness.
