I Am A Shadow

Shadows,

Dark, cold spots in a ray of sun.

Shadows hide things,

Hide secrets.

You look at me,

You see a bright, smiling, happy person.

But it's only a wall,

And that wall,

Casts a shadow.

A shadow of darkness,

A shadow of pain,

A shadow of tears,

A shadow,

Full of secrets.

Mirrors lie.

They show you the wall,

But not the shadow behind the wall...
