I Am A Ship
I once was obliterated by an overwhelming sea of anxiety.
Dizzy, from the whirlpool of the world spinning me around.
I feared not only the storm but the calm before it.
The absolute silence.
The stillness.
Bone-chilling.
It was once only me and my own thoughts against the troubles of society.
My boat disinegrated from the heavy waves that never stopped coming.
Amongst the wreckage I sunk.
Falling deeper and deeper into the abyss and farther and farther from everything I'd ever known.
It was a break in the clouds,
It was a split in the sea,
that allowed me to rise to the surface,
build a ship,
and become truly me.
