I Am Sincere

Poetry

Clayvon Barnes

10/22/15

I Am Sincere

I am the wind that dances around the skin of through and through

I shape the sculptures of monuments of wonder

I come to the rescue of the shattered dreams and lend ears to the deaf

I am Sincere

I break the barriers that lead women astray

I calm the minds of the active thoughts that dance with continuance beats

I am the hope of the hopeless

I am Sincere

I am the month of May in the winter months

I bring assurance to those who roam the sidewalk with no destination

I am the voice to sooth the mayhem between thoughts that are unjust

I am Sincere

I am the pleasant sunrise in the distance of the horizon

I am the smile on the birth of a new child

I sing the songs that bring peace and harmony

I am Sincere

I am the way out of a dead end

I am the honeymoon to the newlywed

I am the starlight so bright in the limitless sky

I am Sincere
