I am Sisyphus

There’s a bolder on a hill

Every sunset it rolls

Down and down and down

Crushing any goals

And every night and every day

I push that boulder up that hill

But still it falls

But here’s the irony

Here’s the real joke

There isn’t any god

There isn’t some overlord

Pushing that boulder down on me

No, why would there be?

There’s just me

Every day at sunset

I push that boulder back down that hill

Because I could beat gods

I could beat the super natural

But myself?

Well let’s face it

Who ever beats themselves?

Well it's not actually really a poem. However, it was closer to a poem then anything else I could come up with, so poem it is.
