I Am a Solidier

I am a soldier I am a soldier lost in my dreadful thoughts, Forgotten deep in the battlefield of sorrow. I am a soldier; hatred is all that I was taught, It’s been there since before yesterday, and it’ll still be there after tomorrow. I am a soldier abandoned by his own company, Fearing an encounter with his hated enemy. I am a soldier, lonely with nobody to keep me company. I am only hoping and praying that they don’t come for me. I am a soldier with a heavy 16 at my grasp, Carefully creeping through this ghostly begotten town. I am a soldier just waiting for someone to blast. For my lost soul will never, ever back down. I am a soldier; I have fought this war for years and years. And I can’t give up now, for I have come too far. I am a soldier; I have to face these treacherous fears For I am strong; even without my soul and heart. I am a soldier; I will fight this war ‘til I die. Even if it means I have to fight it by myself. I am a soldier; I will make it out alive I will win this long war all by myself.
